Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Cement Paver to join our construction team. As a Cement Paver, you will be responsible for preparing, laying, and finishing concrete for various projects such as driveways, sidewalks, patios, roadways, and other surfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience working with concrete, possess strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, mark, and level areas where concrete will be poured.
• Set up and secure forms to hold concrete in place during the curing process.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete using various tools such as trowels, screeds, and floats.
• Smooth, level, and finish freshly poured concrete to the required texture or finish.
• Operate concrete mixers, pavers, and other related equipment.
• Monitor the curing process and apply finishing touches as needed, such as adding decorative elements or texture.
• Repair and resurface damaged or worn concrete surfaces.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with local building codes and industry standards.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the worksite.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cement Paver, Concrete Finisher, or similar role.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with construction tools and machinery used in concrete work.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of masonry or construction techniques.

Working Conditions:

• This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Work is often outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project timelines.
