POSITION SUMMARY The Finish Process Operator performs a variety of duties related to the prepping/un-taping of pumps for paint, packing and shipment of all products while observing proper safety methods. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Pack - Duties associated with masking and unmasking of finished pumps and packaging materials for shipment. Duties include but are not limited to the proper selection of cartons, stenciling, foaming, weighing, tagging, touch-up paint and processing paperwork accurately. Carpentry - duties associated with construction of crates/skids, assisting shipment, and loading of oversized packages into/onto trucks when requested, maintenance of adequate packaging materials, and performs other related carpentry duties. Monitor metrics as assigned (production measurements) Communicate any defects or other problems to supervisor/line lead using data, clearly describe the defect in detail so that improvement can be implemented The Employee must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the functions of multiple (50% or more) product lines or complete processes within the job classification to be fully qualified KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Experience 1-year minimum related experience Education High school diploma or equivalent Competencies Read and write Able to demonstrate simple mathematics Accurate record keeping Perform multiple tasks at one time Demonstrate general independent decision making Read and understand standard work instructions Must understand how to maintain tools on production line Know 6S and maintain it on primary line, while respecting it for all other lines Train new employees Plan and perform multiple sequence of operations of the product line Perform multiple tasks at one time SAFETY, PHYSICAL, & ENVIRONMENTAL Office Environment (5%) Sitting Computer and keyboard use Standing Production Floor (95%) Walking Standing Eye protection - safety glasses Foot protection - steel toe shoes Ability to lift to 40 pounds without assistance Are you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world? Total Rewards The starting compensation for this position is $22.81 per hour. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
