As Terminal Manager with Tidewater Logistics ( ) you’ll lead daily operations ensuring best use/cost management of company assets/personnel in this fast-paced facility, engaging with customers, vendors, city officials/others to operate successfully.
This role can be part of a succession plan/promotion(s) for the right person.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Monitor inventory levels on track/rail yard; communicate daily movements optimizing inventory movement/peak production
Ensure safe operations with little downtime
Communicate daily with Regional Manager on operations
Plan/organize team's daily shifts & expectations
Adherence to Health/ Safety SOPs
Hiring/Training team members
Facility maintenance: buildings, road, rail track, barge dock, & preventative/corrective
Sign off/approve purchases
Maintain privacy/confidentiality, protect assets, act with ethics/integrity, & adhere to SOPs
REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma/GED (degree a plus) & 5+ years management/lead experience in sizable small company or large company division to include:
Rail cars, bulk material, logistics, truck/rail distribution, railroad compliance, receiving, inventory control, materials management and/or manufacturing
Bulk trans-loading, railroad/barge operations, warehousing, oilfield logistics
Frac Sand/Condensate handling a plus
F ront-end loaders/cranes/large diesel-powered machinery
24/7 manufacturing environment
Mechanically inclined; able to lift up to 50lbs/handle physical work
Valid driver’s license/good driving record
MS Office
