Job Summary: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to join their team, focusing on leading technical Proof of Concepts (POCs) with enterprise engineering teams across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) or Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH), exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage with technical stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities: - Lead and manage technical POCs with enterprise engineering teams to demonstrate the value of CFD and SPH solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to understand client needs and develop customized solutions.
- Present technical concepts and solutions to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of the technology.
- Support the sales process by providing technical expertise and insights during client meetings and negotiations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, CFD/CAE tools, and advancements in fluid mechanics.
- Travel as required to meet with clients and support sales activities across the United States.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in CFD-related tasks, with practical knowledge of industrial CAD and CFD software.
- Bachelor's degree in Fluid Mechanics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience selling CFD or SPH solutions, with a strong track record of success.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with CFD/CAE suites such as XFlow, PowerFlow, Ansys Fluent, Ansys CFX, SimScale, Cadence, M-Star, Cradle, or OpenFoam.
Preferred Experience: - Experience with sophisticated SPH or MPS (Moving Particle Semi-Implicit) tools such as PreonLab, NanoFluidX, SPH-Flow, NextFlow, Particle Works, LS-Dyna, or Rocky DEM.
- Background in CFD methods like Volume of Fluid, Lattice Boltzmann for multiphase flows, or heat transfer.
- Prior employment with companies such as Ansys, Numeca, Siemens, Dassault, Cadence, or M-Star, or experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, or Customer Success Engineer.
Compensation and Benefits: - Base salary: $90,000 - $150,000
- Total compensation package: $110,000 - $175,000
