As a company, we support flexible hours and location. This is a hybrid role with significant flexibility to be mostly remote. Our team works in a way that suits their personal preferences: some of our employees work primarily remotely, while others prefer in-person collaboration. Although the position allows for a high degree of remote work, there will be occasional in-person meetings, so proximity to the DFW area is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies, regulatory compliance, and tax risk management.
• Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Conduct research on complex federal and state tax issues.
• Collaborate with clients on tax implications of financial decisions and investment strategies, providing expert guidance.
• Identify tax savings opportunities through proactive planning and insights, aligning with clients' financial goals.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly encouraged.
• At least 5 years of experience in tax consulting and compliance, with a strong background in public accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Proficiency in tax software and technology tools commonly used in tax consulting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines with high standards of quality.
• Must reside within 90 minutes of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex.
